Episode Overview

Konohamaru's team asks Neji to share stories of Naruto's bravery, but he instead recounts a past event from the Chunin exams three years ago. During Orochimaru's assault on Konoha, two rogue ninjas seize the chaos to abduct Hinata. Neji, Tenten, Kiba, and Akamaru spring into action to rescue her, but they find themselves in a tough spot until Hiashi arrives to help. He reveals to Neji that he embodies the cherished memory of his late brother. This moment makes Neji realize that Naruto's words about fate hold truth; he's not simply bound by his clan's legacy. Konohamaru’s team grumbles about Naruto’s absence in the tale, to which Neji enigmatically states that Naruto is the most significant part.
