Episode Overview
Barbara and Dennis Medford visit town for Barbara to receive her award from Today's Woman Magazine for emerging dress designers. As always, Dennis finds himself preoccupied with other women. When Warren Nicholson, the magazine's marketing director, gives Barbara excessive attention, they end up in bed, leading Dennis to finally acknowledge his mistreatment of her. Meanwhile, Adrian Fitzpatrick, seeking solace from her unfaithful spouse, propositions Peter after a night of drinking. When Peter declines her advances, she reacts violently. Following her husband Jack's request for a divorce, Adrian brings a stranger to her room, but after a horrific encounter, she falsely accuses Peter of the assault. Ultimately, she confesses to the deceit when her attempts to win back Jack fail.
