S02E07 Ideals
Episode Overview
Eight-year-old Sarah Lawrence, daughter of hotel residents Jean and Phil, is plagued by severe headaches after a recent accident. When her condition worsens, Christine contacts Dr. Kellin, who fears a brain blood clot and recommends urgent tests and potential surgery. However, upon their return, Phil refuses to allow Sarah to be hospitalized, citing the family's religious convictions against medical intervention. Determined to help, Christine embarks on a mission to secure medical care for the child. Meanwhile, Mark proposes to advertising executive Catherine Stevens, much to the dismay of her 18-year-old son, Jeff. Additionally, Mrs. Cabot collaborates with art dealer Adam Partridge for a private showcase of contemporary California artists, hoping to feature her tulip garden painting, but faces opposition from Partridge and art patron Georgia Potter. In a series of humorous mishaps, her painting becomes a focal point.
