Episode Overview
Laura Shafer has been trapped in her hotel for three months due to agoraphobia. Despite the well-intentioned efforts of her father, Al, her ex-fiancé Kevin, and Peter, her situation remains unchanged. Al's attempts to help only complicate matters, prompting Peter to persuade him to stop interfering. With the support of a counselor, Laura gradually reconnects with Kevin. Meanwhile, Charles Cabot's attempts to win over Christine against Peter backfire, leading to a heated confrontation. Elizabeth, the new concierge, has a romantic encounter with filmmaker Harley Magnuson, but their liaison is interrupted by his wife's unexpected arrival, forcing her to plead her case to Christine. Later, Billy is left confused when he sees Elizabeth in a secret meeting with Charles Cabot.
