Sesame Street (1969)

Episode Overview

Elmo and Alan are enjoying a story time at Hooper's Store when they hear the sound of a boat approaching. To their surprise, they spot a group of Bookaneers boarding the storefront. Leading them is a pirate captain, portrayed by guest star Tina Fey, along with an Anything Muppet and a gruff dog. They insist that Elmo surrender his book, but he shares his passion for reading instead. The pirates then invite Elmo to join their crew as a Bookaneer, but first, he must complete a set of challenging tasks to prove himself.
