Sesame Street (1969)

Episode Overview

At the new laundromat on Sesame Street, Chris greets the audience while tackling his laundry. He expresses his fondness for the sounds the washing machines make, even singing a playful twist on "The Wheels on the Bus," although an Anything Muppet woman nearby disagrees. As he folds his clothes, he realizes one sock is missing, while all the others have their pairs. Puzzled about the lost sock, he’s soon joined by Abby Cadabby, who appears in a puff of magic. He shows her his lone sock, and she excitedly prepares to demonstrate her "Two Trick," which turns one item into two.
