Episode Overview

As the semifinals kick off, host Jesse Palmer shocks the six remaining bakers by announcing that the team format is over, and they will now compete solo through a series of three tough challenges. First up, they must whip up nostalgic Christmas desserts, infusing them with festive decorations. In the next round, the bakers are challenged to incorporate classic gelatin mold flavors, such as lime cream cheese, peach buttermilk, and orange marshmallow, into their creations. For the final heat, they need to transform ingredients like canned apple pie filling, canned pineapple, and instant chocolate pudding into standout retro desserts. Guest judge Stephanie Boswell joins Nancy Fuller and Kardea Brown to determine who advances to the finale and who will be sent home.
