Episode Overview

During Hanukkah, one of the most delightful confections is the gold-wrapped chocolate coins. Jesse Palmer sets a challenge for the four bakers still in the competition, asking them to put a unique spin on this classic by adding candied orange, espresso beans, smoked salt, or toasted coconut to their creations. For the second round, the bakers must whip up scrumptious cheesecakes featuring a specific crust and topped with a shiny, edible ice rink. Judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman, and Lorraine Pascale take their decisions seriously as they determine which three bakers will advance to the finale.
