Briana Rios, a pregnant teenager, takes a low-wage job at a dollar store to help her family, only to discover that the store is actually a facade for an offshore gambling operation. Before long, she rises to become one of Miami's leading illegal bookies. However, her success is short-lived as everything unravels, and her superiors attempt to shift the blame for their criminal activities onto her.
