Episode Overview
Rocky becomes convinced that CeCe's father is trying to rekindle his romance with CeCe's mother, prompting her to devise a plan inspired by her favorite book. Initially skeptical, CeCe's doubts vanish when she discovers a ring in her dad's coat, leading them to believe a proposal is imminent. With assistance from Miss Burke, the school librarian, they orchestrate a Bollywood-themed recreation of CeCe’s parents' first date on the "Shake It Up, Chicago!" set. However, they soon learn that CeCe's dad is planning to propose to his girlfriend from Florida instead. Feeling guilty for not knowing about her dad's girlfriend, Rocky apologizes to CeCe. Meanwhile, Ty and Deuce's double date at Crusty's goes awry as they uncover a long-standing rivalry between Dina and Gina. They confront the girls about their incessant competition, and ultimately, Dina and Gina reconcile and form a friendship.
