Judge John Deed (2001)
S04E05 Separation of Powers
Episode Overview
Deed is presiding over an environmental lawsuit against a company running a massive waste incinerator, which is alleged to have harmed local residents' health through air pollution. Jo Mills, representing the parents of an affected child, is struggling to make her case. However, new revelations emerge that the company intentionally concealed a flaw in the incinerator that exacerbated its emissions. In a separate development, Rufus Barron uncovers evidence suggesting that Neil Haughton accepted a bribe related to a defense contract. Just as the evidence comes to light, it mysteriously disappears, prompting Haughton to call for Deed's impeachment over alleged misconduct.
