The park in Dog River is falling into disrepair, creating hazards for the local children. To address this, Brent proposes a jelly bean jar contest, a suggestion that initially excites everyone. However, the competition soon stirs up tension among the townsfolk. Meanwhile, Davis finds himself reminiscing about beloved films when a group of truckers rolls into town.
