In need of some extra money, Oscar decides to take on the role of Dog River's official census taker, only to discover that Hank already holds that position. Realizing their skills are on par, Fitzy appoints both as census takers, leading them to devise some quirky techniques for tallying the town's residents. Meanwhile, Wanda tries to market meal replacement bars, enlisting Brent to help, but soon realizes that the profits are vanishing. Lacey misinterprets a scenario, believing that Karen and Davis are romantically involved beyond their professional relationship.
