Dog River has a sister city in Japan, and Emma and Karen are tasked with selecting a suitable gift to send after they accidentally misplace one they received. Meanwhile, Lacey is determined to make Corner Gas and The Ruby more environmentally friendly, enlisting a hesitant Brent to help her implement her ideas. At the same time, Wanda takes over bartending duties at the Hotel, offering unsolicited advice to patrons that no one is interested in hearing.
