Title: The Play's Not the Thing Plot: On his way to perform at Regina's church, Steve finds himself arrested and thrown into jail alongside Cedric. Feeling guilty for not proofreading the school's newsletter in time, Steve is determined to make it up to Regina. When her pianist bails right before a big performance, he offers to step in, but Regina hesitates to trust him and searches for alternatives. Meanwhile, Cedric is irked with Steve for hogging the parking spot, leading him to resort to walking and public transport after getting fed up with parking tickets. As part of a social studies project, students pair up for a marriage experiment. Ultimately, Regina turns to Steve for help as a pianist, and he agrees just as he heads out the door for the church.
