Feeling down and abandoned due to Regina's upcoming wedding, Steve intensifies his efforts to win her back after hearing about their quick decision to elope. At the same time, Lovita encourages Cedric to charm the female landlord of a potential new apartment. As Cedric and Lovita hunt for their own place, Steve starts betting on the likelihood of Regina's engagement lasting. When Regina reveals her elopement plans with Jordan, Steve realizes time is running out. Desperate to intervene, he sows doubt by bringing up the idea of a prenuptial agreement, leading Regina to question her future with Jordan. Meanwhile, Lydia's spirits plummet upon discovering her adoption.
