Episode Overview
Title: Graduation Plot: As graduation approaches, Tia, Tamera, and their friends gear up for the big day. Lisa is on a quest to find a special guest speaker for the ceremony, while Tamera and Jordan work on their farewell song. Meanwhile, Tyreke feels sidelined due to not having earned his diploma. He confides in Ray about his desire to obtain his GED after landing a promotion as a full mechanic, needing time to focus on his studies. After failing the test, he considers accepting the promotion instead. A heated argument with Tia leads to their breakup. However, when the girls learn about Tyreke's struggles, he retakes the GED and passes. The graduation ceremony for the class of 1998 features an inspiring speech from Superbowl MVP Terrel Davis, culminating in a heartfelt performance by Roger for his friends.
