Episode Overview

Billy Blue Cannon faces the grim possibility of execution after being court-martialed for the alleged murder of a general's son. In a twist of fate, Billy Blue intervenes to protect an Indian girl from a drunken army lieutenant, resulting in the lieutenant's death during the struggle. The girl escapes to an Apache stronghold, prompting Buck and Manolito to brave danger in order to convince Cochise to let her testify for Billy Blue. However, her statement is dismissed when the court learns it was secured through bribery. Realizing the court-appointed defense is ineffective, John Cannon steps in to personally defend his son.
