The High Chaparral (1967)

Episode Overview

John Cannon confronts a group of gold prospectors trespassing on his property, leading them to seek revenge against the Cannons. Lije Driskill, Johnny Faro, and Shorty Bleeson attempt to ambush Buck, Sam, and Victoria as they return to the ranch with dynamite intended for the mine, but their plan fails. In retaliation, Driskill and his gang raid the ranch and steal the cattle. Misinterpreting a friendly kiss from Victoria, Buck decides to blow up the mine, intending for it to be his last job for John. Meanwhile, Billy Blue rides to assist Buck but is captured by Driskill, who plans to eliminate him.
