Episode Overview
John Cannon finds himself in a heated dispute with both a neighbor and local Indians, derailing their Thanksgiving preparations. Victoria convinces John to purchase the last turkey from their contentious neighbor, Fergus McLeish. However, negotiations fall apart when McLeish, a squatter, demands a free deed to some of the Cannon property. In a twist, Chief Koso steals McLeish's turkey, and ranch hand Pedro trades a rifle for it. The Thanksgiving feast is jeopardized when Chief Koso demands the turkey back, while McLeish wrongly believes John is the one who stole it.
