The High Chaparral (1967)

Episode Overview

The Cannons' festivities for a peace treaty with the Indians are abruptly interrupted by scalp hunters posing as law enforcement. Nickanora, an old acquaintance of Manolito and Victoria, reveals he has journeyed from Mexico with Johnny Ringo's crew to profit from scalping Indians. After the gang slaughters an Indian family, Manolito sets out to confront them alone but is soon captured. John Cannon and the High Chaparral wranglers track down Manolito but hesitate to engage in a firefight, concerned that their gunfire might draw the attention of a nearby Apache war party.
