The High Chaparral (1967)

Episode Overview

Buck brings on Orville Kilroy, a drifter with a hidden criminal background, who quickly wins over the workers at the Cannon Ranch. Blue looks up to Kilroy for his sharpshooting skills, while the other men in the bunkhouse respect him as a skilled ranch hand. Even John Cannon is intrigued by Kilroy's chess prowess. However, trouble arises when Telford Burris and his sons track Kilroy to Tucson, accusing him of absconding with robbery money. When they confront him, Buck faces a tough decision: protect Kilroy and preserve Blue's admiration or hand the criminals over to the authorities.
