The High Chaparral (1967)

Episode Overview

After a bandit ambush leaves them stranded in the desert, John, Victoria, and Manolito exacerbate their situation by taking refuge in what they believe to be an abandoned ghost town. While traveling in a buckboard, they encounter renegades Bennett, Lippert, and Moore, who rob them of their possessions and horses, leaving John injured. Manolito discovers a makeshift shelter in the seemingly deserted town, but soon realizes they are not alone. Among the town's inhabitants is Marcum, a bitter former lawman who has little tolerance for newcomers.
