After a fierce battle, Tanjiro triumphs over Kyogai. Stepping outside, he reunites with Zenitsu, who managed to escape earlier. However, he’s immediately struck by the unusual scene unfolding before him: a battered Zenitsu cradling the box that holds Nezuko, while a man wearing a boar's head mask stands in their path, brandishing two Nichirin swords.
