Episode Overview

Samantha and her baseball buddy Scottie decide to hang out on the couch and watch TV. While getting swept up in a romantic movie, they find themselves discussing kissing and ultimately decide to give it a shot. When Julie and Katie walk in, they misinterpret the situation, thinking the two are more than just friends. The chief later warns Samantha that kissing a boy could lead to pregnancy, which confuses her into believing that’s possible. Seeking advice from Julie, Nell, and Grandpa proves unhelpful. Eventually, Nell finds Samantha in tears and reassures her to ignore their dad’s comments, promising to enlighten her about the real facts of life.
