Episode Overview

While Nell is stuck at home feeling unwell, the Chief heads to Los Angeles for a meeting and asks his mother to come over and lend a hand. She quickly dismisses Katie's new boyfriend due to his pink hair, insists on covering everyone in garlic to prevent them from catching Nell's illness, and serves an unusual dinner of lamb stuffed with goat intestines. Frustrated by her antics, the family pressures Samantha to go to Grandpa and persuade Grandma to come back. In the process, Samantha finds herself unexpectedly smitten with him.
