Episode Overview

Nell discovers that Addy is engaged to her dentist, who has been married before and has kids from each of his previous relationships. Choosing to support Addy’s happiness, Nell helps her pick out a wedding ring. However, tensions flare up again over the engagement, leading them to step into separate elevators that suddenly break down. As they wait for help, Nell and Addy use their phones to reminisce about their Alabama memories to cope with the situation. When Nell suggests Addy call her fiancé, she’s shocked when his new girlfriend answers, prompting Addy to cut him out of her life for good. Eventually, the fire department arrives to rescue them.
