Mad Jack inadvertently finds himself stranded on a raft caught in rushing rapids. Meanwhile, Adams gears up to search for him. When he discovers Jack's personal items, Adams becomes convinced that Mad Jack has perished. This prompts him to reflect on the first time they crossed paths.
