Mad Jack and Adams face a challenge in their friendship when Mad Jack comes back to the mountain suffering from a fever that leads to vivid hallucinations. In his altered state, Mad Jack believes he is the legendary bounty hunter, Brett Carson, whose primary goal is to capture Adams, whom he perceives as a wanted criminal.
