Episode Overview

After becoming a member of the school basketball team, Malcolm quickly irritates the coach with his relentless griping, leading to his dismissal from the team. To change his ways, he decides to "hold his tongue," which resolves conflicts with his coach, girlfriend, and parents, but ultimately brings him even more stress. Meanwhile, Hal embarks on a speed walking journey, determined to excel, while Reese persuades Craig to take him and Allison to a concert, nearly sabotaging his own date in the process.
