Episode Overview

Lois discovers a newfound vitality thanks to orthotic inserts for her shoes, which leaves Hal worried that she won't depend on him as much. In a bid to sabotage her new support system, he devises a plan to get rid of the inserts. Meanwhile, Reese has a former female army friend visiting, but tension arises when she becomes defensive after Reese misinterprets their relationship, leading him to believe that they could take things to a more intimate level.
