Episode Overview

Mr. Middleditch unexpectedly arrives at the hospital in an ambulance after injuring his ankle during a fishing trip. Stella reluctantly accepts Marian McKaig as her new roommate, but Alun is instantly taken with the charming nurse. In another part of town, a desperate mother seeks Mike's assistance at a hippie commune, where her antagonistic husband is rejecting any outside help.
