"The Breakdown" welcomes a new leader, Diana St. Tropez, a determined businesswoman with ambitious goals to modernize their aging news program. Katie is excited, seeing Diana as the strong, professional woman she’s always wanted as a mentor. However, Carol feels uneasy about Diana's impact on Katie. At the same time, Chuck struggles to adjust to Diana's vision for a new segment featuring loud, opinionated pundits.
