Carol is heartbroken when she finds out that her parents are divorcing after seven decades together. Meanwhile, Katie, still reeling from her split with Jeremy, believes that love is a lost cause. However, Carol is resolute in her mission to show that it’s never too late for a happy ending. At the same time, Chuck uncovers that Justin's recent joy stems from a charming new barista at the coffee shop. In a bid to win her over, Chuck starts to compete for her attention, jeopardizing his friendship with Justin in the process.
