In 2003, Juliet and her boyfriend Scott Seaver agreed to reunite in seven years. When Scott doesn’t appear, Shawn tracks him down, putting Scott's life at risk as he was a crucial witness against mobster JT Waring, who is serving time for the murder of a U.S. Marshal. With Waring claiming he didn't kill the Marshal, Shawn faces the tough task of validating Waring's innocence to keep Scott safe.
