Shinji starts his new life at a school in Tokyo-3, struggling with the attention that comes from being an Evangelion pilot. He faces hostility from Touji Suzuhara, whose younger sister was harmed during Shinji's battle with the Angel. Tensions run high until a fresh Angel emerges, forcing Shinji to step back into the cockpit of EVA-01 to confront the threat once more.
