Living Single (1993)
S02E01 There's Got to Be a Morning After
Episode Overview
Kyle and Max face the fallout from their wild night out together. Kyle cleverly sneaks Max out of the apartment unnoticed, but their arrival at the rooftop party singing the same tune raises eyebrows among their friends, who notice their unusual camaraderie. Back at Kyle's place with Overton, both men reveal what transpired. Overton encourages Kyle to explore the nature of his feelings for Max. When Kyle invites her to dinner, she surprisingly agrees, which sends Regine into a panic, fearing she’ll be the sole target of Max's jabs. Regine wagers with Khadijah, Synclaire, Overton, and Scooter, who has recently landed a job in New York. During dinner, Kyle probes Max about her reluctance to open up, and she explains her need for self-protection. Ultimately, she declines a relationship, feeling she would miss their playful rivalry. They share a fun evening dancing, but Regine ends up winning her bet.
