Khadijah stops by Scooter's place on an errand before the Halogen Records Halloween bash, and Regine stumbles upon a fax from a woman who raved about her night with Scooter. Meanwhile, Khadijah discovers a bottle of perfume hidden under the sink, raising her suspicions. At the party, the trio feels awkward as they're the only ones in costumes, since everyone else donated their costume funds to charity. Khadijah becomes frustrated when several women are shocked to learn that Scooter has a girlfriend, insisting he introduce her to everyone. When he questions her defensiveness, she reveals her concerns about the fax and perfume. Scooter explains the dinner was a work event and the perfume was just promotional. He urges Khadijah to trust him and reminds her that she's been so focused on work that he's been overlooked. Khadijah promises to change that. Overton, Synclaire, and Kyle are also present.
