Whitley still needs to complete a fundamental math course to graduate, so she hesitantly signs up for Col. Taylor's class. He makes an effort to ease her anxiety about the subject. Meanwhile, Dwayne and Ron find themselves at odds over money matters. Dwayne thinks Ron is too reckless with his spending, while Ron fires back, labeling Dwayne a miser.
