Episode Overview
On her wedding day, Whitley wakes up in a daze, her recent chat with Dwayne overshadowing her thoughts about her upcoming marriage. Her mother scolds her for dwelling on Dwayne, insisting that Byron will provide a better future. Torn, Dwayne decides not to attend the ceremony. As Whitley grows increasingly anxious while waiting to say her vows, Kim considers offering her advice but holds back. Just as the ceremony begins, Dwayne arrives, and Ron tries to urge him to disrupt the wedding. When Whitley falters during her vows, overwhelmed by images of Dwayne, he realizes her uncertainty. He rushes forward, asking her to marry him instead. Whitley joyfully accepts, running to Dwayne, while Byron and his family depart in disgust but without conflict. The minister proceeds with the unexpected union.
