Naomi and Jen are back at it, stirring up chaos in each other's lives, and just when Naomi believes she's gained the advantage, Jen brings her crashing back to reality. Teddy, feeling anxious, brings Silver to meet his father, Spence, for a second time, but things do not unfold as expected. Meanwhile, Adrianna is having a tough time crafting a new song for Laurel and seeks help from Navid, which leads him to confront his lingering feelings for her. Adrianna also records a duet with the charming pop star Javier Luna, who quickly captures her attention. Annie takes the initiative to talk to Harry and Debbie about their recent marital issues, prompting a family discussion about their future.
