Dawn Masterson, a lifeguard from Florida and a nomadic archaeologist, joins the crew and quickly captivates the male lifeguards. Meanwhile, she engages in a playful rivalry with Sean, who is determined to uncover her vulnerabilities. At the same time, Dawn has her own motives as she reconnects with J.D., an old acquaintance from her past.
