Baywatch (1989)

Episode Overview

Mitch forms a bond with Tanner, a nine-year-old boy facing abuse at the hands of his angry, alcoholic father, Blake. Tanner joins the junior lifeguards, hoping to escape his difficult home situation. Despite Mitch's desire to support him, he feels powerless as others warn him to stay out of Tanner's family issues. The situation escalates dramatically when a bus unexpectedly plunges off a bridge and submerges in twenty feet of water.
