Episode Overview

At Edison High's "Back to School" dance, Chris invites Kim to be his date and suggests that Alison go with Cody. This leaves Cody completely bewildered, both because he has no clue who Alison is and because he can’t dance! Romeo proposes that Chris help teach Cody, promising to cancel the date if he can't. With the support of Chris, Mags, Romeo, and Emily, they all attempt to coach Cody on the dance floor. Just then, the stunning Alison arrives, sparking Cody's interest in dancing. However, Emily becomes a bit envious when she realizes how smitten Cody is with Alison. With only thirty minutes before the dance, Emily steps in to help Cody learn to dance. During a slow song, they find themselves dancing closely, gazing into each other's eyes. Later, while dancing with Alison, Cody discovers he can't help but look across the room at Emily, who is returning his gaze.
