Upon returning home, the Westons discover Charley hosting a party in their living room. When Harry confronts him and demands he leave for good, Charley packs up and moves out. At the same time, while tidying up the office, Harry accidentally tosses out Laverne's cherished lucky hot dog wrapper without realizing its significance.
