Just when Paul Dangerfield has resigned himself to the idea that his chances with Liz are over, fate intervenes as she becomes a counselor at his practice. It might seem a bit coincidental, but it’s clear that Paul won’t find love unless it’s practically handed to him! A romantic night by the water takes a dark turn when a suicide pact is suggested, but when police discover the body of a young woman, her partner is nowhere to be found. The autopsy shows the woman died before entering the water, leading the murder investigation to focus on two women claiming to be connected to the missing man.
