Betty feels compelled to distance herself from Daniel, Christina, and Henry after witnessing her professional relationship with Daniel crumble, her friendship with Christina falter, and her opportunity with Henry slip away. In the meantime, love is blossoming: Alexis attracts the interest of a man at MODE who asks her out, while Amanda flirts with a designer she assumes is gay. Wilhelmina, however, grows weary of her latest pursuits. Back at the Suarez household, Santos surprises Hilda with a sweet gesture.
