Episode Overview
As Betty embarks on her new role as associate features editor, she discovers that change is in the air, particularly since her boss is her ex, Matt Hartley, who is still dealing with their breakup. Her new coworker, Megan, openly dislikes her, while Marc constantly undermines her, believing he deserved the promotion instead. Meanwhile, Daniel is struggling without Betty by his side, grappling with the loss of his wife, Molly. Betty attempts to assist Megan on a project and meets a creative insect jewelry designer named Olivia. At the same time, Justin faces bullying in high school but keeps it from his mother, Hilda. Claire Meade finds herself in a temporary power position against Wilhelmina, who lost her hold on the Meade empire last season. However, Wili has her own issues to deal with at home, keeping a secret that’s driving Marc up the wall.
