Episode Overview

Jane and Dan noticed a small, quarter-sized water stain on the ceiling of their six-year-old townhouse bedroom. They called in a roofing contractor to fix the balcony above the affected area. However, upon removing the old balcony membrane, the contractor found that the engineered joists underneath were thoroughly rotted. Struggling to find anyone willing to tackle the extensive repairs needed for this structural issue, the homeowners turned to Mike, asking if he would take on the daunting task.
