S03E08 Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow
Episode Overview
Title: Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow Plot: Gilligan awakens to discover his hair has turned completely white. Misunderstanding a conversation, he believes the Professor has diagnosed him with a rare condition that accelerates aging, called "follicular albinism." In an effort to remedy the situation, Mrs. Howell tries to dye Gilligan's hair brown, but the dye backfires, leading to his hair falling out. The other Castaways hilariously try to ignore Gilligan's baldness, prompting Mrs. Howell's iconic breakfast request: "I think I'll have a hard-bald egg." Soon after, the Skipper shows the same signs, and the Professor uncovers that their hair issues stem from using harsh bleach on their clothing.
